KIX Returns After last years energy packed performance, KIX returns again this year to close out the night.

Phat Blues! Voted the Best Blues Band in the Mid Atlantic Region 12 years in a row, the Kelly Bell Band from Baltimore, Maryland is "among the most genre-expanding acts on today's blues scene.

Who else can combine elements of hip-hop, funk, and blues-electrified here, Delta there, horn driven elsewhere.
Emotions & Sound Their trip to make playing music their lives has brought many highlights, including playing events such as the legendary WHFStival, DC101 Chili Cookoff, Raven Stadium, and the Warped Tour. LC has performed with bands including Good Charlotte, Rage Against The Machine, LIVE, Eve 6, etc.
Unique Guitar Licks Jimmie's Chicken Shack is an American alternative rock band from Annapolis, Maryland.

They combine the heavy metal, post-grunge, funk, jazz fusion, alternative rock sound of guitars, vocals, bass, and drums with humorous lyrics and serious subjects.
Rock & Over-Alls There hasn't been a new, local band to rave about in a while before Hot Tub Limo entered the Maryland music scene. If the band's name doesn’t get your attention, their music certainly will.

How do we describe this new band added this year ?  Energetic ? Entertaining ? Always Surprising ?
Rock & Roll with Style Eightyeightsix is a unique style of original rock-n-roll music! The band is comprised of four local musicians who each bring their own spice, which sets them apart from other bands.
Back to the Island! The original core of The Big Hurt began On Kent Island, MD in 1998.  Early on, the band began fuze elements of Rock, Reggae, Funk, Acid Jazz, Ska and Punk with Drum-n-Bass, Go Go and Hip Hop Beats.

The result is a sound that can be attributed to a wide variety of musical influences, improvisational skill, and a simple love for GOOD MUSIC.
Original Tribute Band Korupt was originally formed in the early 1980's, back when big hair, fishnet, chains, and flashy guitars dominated the music scene. Today they're still bringing back some much needed 80's style and some newer and some older rock to your listening ears.
Too Many J's ? Jake, Joey, Josh & Josh return this year for another round at Island Bay Day....

Imagine Alice in Chains meets Led Zeppelin...that's about as close as you can get to describing the sound of Defrayal. Raw, powerful vocals, driving guitars and a pounding rhythm section combine with perfect proportions of light and dark. This band demands attention...and they are going to get it

All About Island Bay Day

Island Bay Day is hosted by Kent Island Online and has multiple stages for full day and evening of live music! This is an outdoor event that has something for everyone. Fold-up chairs and blankets are permitted but, coolers and outside food and drinks are not.

The 5th Annual Island Bay Day is much more than a music festival! There will be great food, wine tastings from a local winery, reasonably priced beer, soft drinks, kids fun, the Barcrawler Magazine Beer Olympics and much more!
